Privacy Policy

We use cookies to improve the user experience on our site. Continue to use the site as usual if you agree to using cookies. If you choose not to use cookies, your information will not be tracked when you visit this website. In this case, there only will be one cookie file generated that will store information about your opt-out.

This policy only governs the use and disclosure of Webvork information (hereinafter referred to as Webvork, 'we', 'us') that we collect when users choose to use the Webvork widget, navigate to a publisher’s website that has a Webvork widget, use Webvork services, or browse advertisements we serve. Therefore, this policy does not apply to other websites, third party advertisers or ad networks, or other services and companies that we do not own, operate, or control. We do not control the privacy practices of third parties and you are subject to the privacy practices of those third parties when you use their services.

We may collect information about you when you (details below):
  • complete the registration process on Webvork,
  • visit our website,
  • use our widget,
  • visit the website using Webvork services,
  • view or respond to advertisements placed by us or on our behalf.

When you sign up on our site, you will be required to provide us with certain information, some of which personally identifies you, such as your email address and other registration information. When using our services, you will be required to provide us with additional information about yourself, such as a phone number for contacting customer support. Information that you provide to us directly is what we refer to as "Registration Information".

Data Collection on the Website

Our Service shapes the user experience by integrating a native advertising platform. By using our Service, you acknowledge that you understand and agree that we use this platform to exchange public advertisements and that we and other Users may search, view, use, and republish any of your User Content that you make public through our Service. Capitalized terms not defined in this Privacy Policy have the meaning given to them in our Terms of Service.

Personally Identifiable Information

We use and disclose the information we collect when users choose to use a Webvork widget, access a publisher’s site that has a Webvork widget, use the Webvork platform, or view advertisements that we serve.

We ask for Personally Identifiable Information, such as your name and email address, when you create a Webvork account or correspond with us (in which case we will also store your responses).

We collect information when you visit our website, use or interact with the Webvork services, when you visit the websites of our affiliate partners that use the Webvork widget or services, and when you view or interact with advertisements placed by us or on our behalf.

The information we collect may include data about the general behavior of the clickstream, such as the web pages viewed (including the URLs of those pages), search queries from which users go to the page, transitions from page to page through Webvork services, time spent on each page, and items you click on or select ("Usage Information"). This Usage Information may also include your IP address, information about your geographic location derived from your IP address, and your internet service provider's domain name. We also collect and use information about your interaction with the Service that does not in any way identify you as an individual ("Non-Personally Identifiable Information"). We may collect, use and disclose Non-Personally Identifiable Information in accordance with the terms set out below.

Cookie Information: Like many websites, we use cookies to collect Usage Information. A cookie is a small file containing a string of characters that is downloaded to your computer and stored on your hard drive when you visit a website; each website sends its own cookies to your browser. Cookies also provide us with information about how you use the Service (such as the pages you view, the links you follow, and other actions you take on the Service) and allow us or our partners to track your use of the Service over time. The cookie persistent file remains on your hard drive after you close your browser. They may be used by your browser on subsequent visits to the site. Persistent cookies can be deleted by following your web browser's instructions. The session cookie is temporary and disappears when the browser is closed. You can reset your web browser settings to refuse all cookies or set up an alert to send a cookie. However, some features of the Service may not work properly if the ability to accept cookies is disabled.

Analytical Information: We use both our own and third-party analytics tools to measure traffic and identify various trends in the use of the Service. These tools collect information that your browser sends as part of a web page request, including the web pages you visit, the extensions your browser uses, your browser's width and height, and other information that helps us improve the Service. We collect and use this analytics information collectively so that it cannot be used to identify an individual user.

Log file information: Log file information is automatically reported by your browser each time you access a web page. When you use our Service, our servers automatically record certain information in a log file. These server logs may contain anonymous information, such as your web request, internet protocol (IP) address, browser type, page you came to the site from, site exit page, URLs, number of clicks, how you interact with links in the Service, domain names, landing pages, pages viewed, and other similar information.

Pixel Information: We may use invisible GIFs (also known as "web beacons") to anonymously track our users' online behavior patterns. In addition, we may use invisible GIFs in HTML-based emails sent to our users to track which emails are opened and which links the recipients click on. This data allows us to generate more accurate reports and improve our Service.

Cookie Options: We use browser-specific cookies to help advertisers show targeted ads that are relevant to you. If you do not want us to store cookies in your browser, you can opt out of this. Please note that if you opt out, you will still see ads from Webvork when you visit our websites, just that they will not be relevant to your web requests.

Data Collection on Partner Sites

We may receive, transfer, and collect information from users of third-party sites using Webvork (“Partner Sites”) about you and your use of the Webvork platform on their sites. If you have not given permission to the Partner Site to share your Personally Identifiable Information, the information transmitted by the Partner Site will not include Personally Identifiable Information, but may include Non-Personally Identifiable Information and/or convey anonymous information about your use of the Partner Site and the Webvork platform on that website.

Use and Transfer of Personally Identifiable Information

Use of information: We use Personally Identifiable Information for the following purposes:
  • internally for purposes such as analyzing the use of the Service, diagnosing service or technical problems, or maintaining security,
  • to operate, maintain, and provide you with the functionality of the Service,
  • to fulfill your requests,
  • to personalize your experience, and
  • to provide you with information and offers from us and third parties that we think you may find useful or interesting, including email newsletters, marketing or promotional materials, and other information about services and products offered by us or third parties.

After deleting or deactivating your Webvork account, Webvork may retain your profile information and User Content for a commercially reasonable time for backup, archival, or audit purposes. In addition, Webvork may store and continue to use for an indefinite period of time all information (including User Content) contained in your messages to other Users or posted in public or partially public sections of the Service after your Webvork account is deleted or deactivated. Webvork reserves the right, but has no obligation, to monitor User Content that you post on the Service. We reserve the right to remove any such information or materials for any or no reason without limitation if, in our opinion, the information or materials violates or may violate any of the applicable laws or our Terms of Service, or to protect our rights or property or the rights or property of any third party. Webvork also reserves the right to remove information at the request of any third party.

Transfer of Information: We do not rent or sell your Personally Identifiable Information to third parties outside of Webvork and its subsidiaries and affiliates without your consent, except as noted below:

Webvork discloses Personally Identifiable Information if required by law or subpoena, or if we reasonably believe that disclosure of Personally Identifiable Information is necessary (a) to comply with the law and reasonable requirements of law enforcement; (b) to enforce our Terms of Service or to protect the security or integrity of our Service; and/or (c) to exercise or protect the rights, property, or personal safety of Webvork, our Users, or others.

Use and Transfer of Non-Personally Identifiable Information

Use of Information: By using our services or providing us with any information, you consent to the collection, processing, maintenance, and transfer of your Non-Personally Identifiable Information. We use your Non-Personally Identifiable Information for the following purposes:
  • to fulfill requests for our services,
  • to communicate with you and respond to your inquiries,
  • to conduct research on the use of Webvork services,
  • to enable you to create an account, store login credentials, and configure Webvork services,
  • to contact you about Webvork services, and
  • to provide you with suggestions for Webvork products and services.

We use the Usage Information we collect and the information we collect from our partners to collect non-personal information and user behavior information to group users with common interests into "Audience Segments". These Audience Segments do not contain Personally Identifiable Information: for example, these Audience Segments may communicate that a user located in a particular geographic area is interested in cars, but the name, email address, phone number, mailing address, or username will not be disclosed. We use these Audience Segments to (a) customize advertisements that may be of interest to users within a single segment and (b) help our advertisers, ad networks, and publishers serve advertisements and offers that may be of interest to users of a single segment

Sharing Information: We may share Non-Personally Identifiable Information, including information collected through tools such as cookies, log files, device identifiers, location data (such as anonymous usage data, referring pages and URLs, pages and Exit URL, platform types, number of clicks, etc.):
  • in any manner permitted for the transmission of Non-Personally Identifiable Information, and
  • to our business partners for the purposes described in the previous section

We may also combine or otherwise remove all personally identifiable features from the data and share aggregated anonymous data with third parties.

We may share non-aggregated, non-personally identifiable Usage Information, including audience segments, with third party advertisers and webmasters to assist them and be able to independently serve relevant, targeted advertisements that match the user's interests. For example, these companies may use information such as clickstream, time and date, and the topic of the ad you clicked on or missed to show ads about products and services that may be of most interest to you. Information about your preferences collected in this process may be used to customize what type of marketing communications you receive on the sites we work with.

We may also share aggregated statistical information about our services with advertisers and webmasters. But we do not share personally identifiable information with these third parties.

Changing or Deleting Your Data

All registered users may review, update, or correct the Personally Identifiable Information provided during registration or in their profile by changing the "user settings" in their account. If you decide not to use the Service, you may deactivate your account. In this case, if you need to use the Services again, you will have to register again. If you decide to completely delete your account and your data or prevent Webvork from processing your data, please email us at [email protected] or contact your personal manager. By using our Service, you acknowledge that you understand and agree that we cannot remove Personally Identifiable Information about you from the records of any third party to whom your data has been provided in accordance with the information use and disclosure policies set out above.

Data Security

Webvork is committed to protecting your information and takes commercially reasonable precautions to maintain the integrity and security of your data collected through the Service. To protect your privacy and security, we take reasonable steps (such as requesting a unique password) to verify your identity before granting you access to your account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your unique password and account information, and for constantly controlling access to your email associated with your Webvork account. Despite the above measures, Webvork cannot guarantee the security of any information you submit to Webvork. If you believe that Webvork may have received information from a child under 18, or about a child under 18, please contact us at [email protected]
